For the transport of larger static caravans and lodges, we have our own in-house escort vehicles, helping to ensure the transportation process runs as smoothly, efficiently, and safely as possible.

We are also able to deal with all legislation on behalf of our customers dealing with the regional Police Abnormal Loads Department – to obtain a Notice of Movement. 

With our Abnormal Load Escort Service, we provide a specialised escort vehicle that follows in front during transportation to warn other road users and pedestrians and to ensure that your abnormal load arrives safely with minimal disruption.

On motorways and dual carriageways, we usually position an escort vehicle at an appropriate distance to the rear of the abnormal load, to provide other road users sufficient warning. All our drivers are competent and proficient and have extensive road safety experience and have a detailed understanding of the UK’s road network.

All routes are meticulously planned in advance utilising our extensive knowledge and experience of transporting large loads.

We communicate with all relevant parties on a daily basis, including the Highways Agency, the Police, and bridge and structure owners like Network Rail to allow us to plan an appropriate route, obtaining advance notice of any potential route problems so you can be sure your load gets the care and attention it deserves.
